Almost all major organizations have annual conferences of one type or another. Some are for further education and some, mainly in Vegas, are just to get out of the office for a couple of days. One of the main headaches and problems with conferences is managing the registrations. First a group has to prepare a packet, pay to have that packet mailed to all of its members, then have all the members fill out their registration and mail it back to the person in the group who then has to open each envelope by hand then by hand enter each registration to a spreadsheet or database.
